Methylenedioxypyrovalerone general information
Methylenedioxypyrovalerone, also known as MDPV or MDPK (CAS No. 687603-66-3), is a very potent stimulant and psychotropic research chemical, about 4 times stronger than Ethylphenidate, analogue at a structural level with Centroton and Katovit, but much stronger than its analogues. Mdpv increases the dopamine and noradrenaline levels, and is primary a stimulant with mild hallucinogenic effects.
What are the effects of MDPV?
After the intake of 10mg during an experiment, the effects are widely stimulative, with increased heart beat and insomnia, and lasts up to 10 hours since the dosage have been orally administered.
Being a potent stimulant, MDPV is similar with cocaine and other amphetamines, but mainly euphoric in effects, and the highest recommended dosage is up to 60mg orally and lower dosage injected in longer intervals of time in between the intake.
One interesting effect induced by MDPV is the increased creativity and mental clarity, demonstrating that it could be an interesting study regarding its qualities. Other effects are increased libido, talkativeness, involuntary body movement, and might induce feelings of euphoria and empathy, and increased sociability. There have been few reports related to paranoia and stomach ache, depression and headache as side effects after several hours of the intake.
MDPV reduces the appetite, and lab tests have been reported to exhibit partial weight loss, while during longer term studies of tests that have been administered MDPV lost considerable mass of fat, not only due to the loss of appetite, but also due to the possibility that after the intake of MDPV, in relation to higher blood pressure in the body and discontinuous sleep patterns, might affect a faster calories burn.
While very similar to cocaine and other amphetamines, MDPV induce feelings of visual and/or auditory hallucinations, delirious state of mind might be present after repeated intake, which makes it a complex research chemical, not also as a very potent stimulant, but also as an interesting drug that outcomes with various consequences and powerful impressions.
Various user experiences on MDPV
At about 3PM My friend Drew and his GF are at my house and I eyeball out about 100mg of powder, +- 25mg on my silver coke spoon. We're excited, and I eye ball out two 15 mg lines, +-5mg and I quickly take my toot. Drew follows. His GF is our sitter till we're sure we're gonna stay alive. Just an hour or so, though, till she joins, and 36 hours till we're free basing 60mg +- 10mg off of tin foil together.
It hit me in about 30 minutes. I didn't feel any come up, I just noticed I was all of the sudden up. It was extremely pleasent, no rush like Cocaine, and I remember thinking that's great and absolutely no problem. That means I won't be chasing some elusive feeling of pleasure that can never be felt again. It affects me like Ritalin and Drew agrees with this list: hyperfocus, increased vigilance, outstanding memory recall and utilization, adept mental agility, and enhanced creative expression in very readable writing. It's excellent for studying and engaging in social bonding, for both of us.
MDPV inhibits re-uptake of dopamine and norepinephrine. Both of these substances are neurotransmitters in the sympathetic neurons of the autonomic nervous system, and both also have direct effects on other tissues, such as blood vessels and the heart. Toxic side-effects of NDRI substances reflect over-activity of the sympathetic nervous system. Symptoms include tachycardia, hypertension, diaphoresis, and anxiety, sometimes extreme. In serious overdose, anxiety can progress to frank psychosis.
Even at normal recreational doses, moderate tachycardia is common. This tachycardia is noticed to increase with even mild exertion.
There is general agreement that the line between pleasure and pain is narrow with MDPV. The user who is successful with a low dose is inclined to push the dose higher in search of more euphoria, and will at some point hit toxic levels, often without warning.
